The main thing I’ve learned about battling depression or any negative emotion is never suppress your feelings or judge yourself for them. You should feel them and embrace them; because nothing is more real than what you are experiencing at this moment. They may be a little rough from time to time but once you get past your hard time you can understand what makes you happy. You need to feel down from time to time to understand and appreciate happiness. Take a mental health day, sleep all day, eat what you want; but get back on your feet and be ready to face the world.
